my school also has a prototyping machine. it is pretty slick. i dont think it's the exact same though. we use Solidworks to create our 3D objects. i considered it as well but the size limitations would be a nightmare for larger pieces of armor. and I'm not sure exactly how yours works but...

i am sorry to say that it does appear too large. did you custom scale it or did you use one the equations?

are you talking about inside the helmet or inside all of the armor? no doubt there are better fabrics than others. if you dont want it moving around too much choose a tough fabric that 'grips' better. the helmet liner could probably be smoother as long as there's enough padding to keep it from...

I havent figured out how to get a picture out of a video but if you watch this Halo Live Action 1-3 and pause it at around 4:56 or 4:57 you get a pretty good picture of his shoulder pad. and I noticed that out of the two, he's the only ODST with that patch on his shoulder. possibly a rank...
