Spartan 2748

Went to Charolette convention center for FFA tournament 2025, knocked out first round, left and met the cosplayers in the green yard in front of the entrance to the center, took a picture with an ODST and learnt about this site, my only current cosplay item is a mark 5 spartan helmet which is layered with fiberglass fabric and marine epoxy resin, it is Airsoft pellet resistant, and three layers of the resin fiberglass combo. It’s really crumby so I hope I can make a new one soon or smooth out the cracks in the fiberglass weave. Yes I am 15 but have a lot of hands on experience with big printing projects, crafting, and a little bit of CAD designing. I have loved Halo since I moved to North Carolina in 2021. When my eldest brother started playing it with me and my two other brothers. Since then I have really gotten myself into the franchise and am now pulling my eldest brother to do Laso with me, within a few days we finished halo Reach Laso. My inspiration that got me into making helmets came when my second eldest brother broke my Airsoft helmet, determined to make one myself I set out on a journey that took 2 years to fulfill, many helmets and print scraps later is where I am, not at all impressed with what I have but hoping to have the support to improve and eventually become a full spartan in Airsoft games.
Anyways, I am glad to join this community and am ready for the next step of cosplay within like 6 years, because I would rather make one whole costume instead of one every month, because I am still growing. Which is why I am sticking to making helmets because your head rarely gets bigger.
