More progress! I used the belt sander some more to bevel the edges properly to match my reference image V my next step will be to put the X in across the sides and to try to dent it in like it shows. anyone have any ideas for how to grind into my block in an inverted pyramid like that?

you're right, It's soaked in like copper, chromium, and arsenic I think (am I remembering that right?) I can't imagine inhaling arsenic is healthy by any means. And here I was thinking I was past the whole airmask thing.

Alright, if you haven't guessed by the title this is my thread on making a pulse grenade. I am making/carving this grenade from this 4"x4" cube of pressure treated wood left over from a home improvement project, then adding the little spikes. I want this to be as accurate as possible.
