So it's been a week or two since I last posted photos of our progress. Sorry to keep you hanging, but here's an update with some great photos. 1) We used Bondo to smooth out the fiberglass hull and then started sanding... and sanding... and sanding.. 2) Did I mention we did a ton of sanding...

My buddy is wearing the respirator because as he laid down the matting for the wing section I was grinding/sanding the fiberglass bumps etc off of the hull section right next to him. The whole garage was filled with fiberglass dust.

So as you guys may have seen, I'm building the Ghost Down Hill Racer in another one of the threads. I've also built a hovercraft in middle school using two leaf blowers and a huge tractor tire. Our hovercraft got about 3mm of lift without a passenger and about 1-2 mm lift with a light middle...
