I should have posted these as before the last pic, These were my TEST paint pieces. The finished ones have a lot more scrapes and gouges in them. I went with a bit of a carbon fiber look on all of the components.

Calf’s. Right and left prototypes are finished and the molds were successful. Here’s the first test pole from the mold and also my test paint pieces as well.

I’ll post pics of what I do to scar them up.

For the deep scratches i use a Dremel tool and grind them into the resin.

As I mentioned everything up to this point has really just been test and practice pieces. I learned a lot from them. Here’s the start of one of two final under suites. I’m starting at the neck and working down.

The gauntlets are next. This ones almost ready to mold. Just a few more touch ups to go one this primer coat dries back in a day or two.

The first bicepts came out of the mold today. Everything in the pic is all still part of the “test” build. I’m using this to work out the building bugs. Nothing in this shot will be part of the final costume , this mannequin is just for testing materials and sizing. It’s almost a shame that...
