well theres a few wikis with alot of the files on it. theres also a sticky thread here on the forum with most of the files in it you just gotta search around. this is the wiki i use for it http://halocostuming.wikia.com/wiki/Pepakura_File_Index
Now if i say something here that happens in the books forgive me cause i havnt read them. Want to just havnt yet. But what if the halo movies showed cool parts of the story from the games that arnt mentioned in the games? Like in Jarhead where it shows the basic training but it could be of John...
From what i can see with the tiny pictures you did a really good job *clapping* when you say you want one to get started on you mean a pretty simple one to do? cause if so then any of the marine stuff or halo 2 odst stuff
heres my wip for the halo 2 helm...
i dont play paintball but i used the paintball masks when i played airsoft. maybe like a thick coat of rondo on top of the fiberglass inside of the helm would be strong enough? idk if i get the chance i might have to test this. Anyone in NC with a paintball gun wanna help out?
what if you found a large visor from an old paint ball mask and used that as the visor and attached some tint to it or something. and just add alot of resin and fiber glass. i would do some tests to see if resin and fiberglass could take a shot from a higher powered paintball gun though.
i was going to put the teeth around the visor but ill have to do some sketches or something to see the differences between the teeth on the visor or around it.
for basic idea of what im shooting for
hey guys finally decided to post some pics of the odst helm im making. Once i get it all resined and painted im planning for a flying tigers paint job on it which hopefully will be as awesome as ive thought it will be.
let me know your thoughts on my first pep work
yeah balsa wood its really nice for making wooden swords or knives. I had to make a wooden sword for something at school and i used that stuff and a belt sander to give it a nice even edge, same motion as sharpening a knife on a grinding wheel really.
looks awesome so far dude :D i might have...
