haha, nah i meant the actual ridges in the model... Unfourtunatly my sanding block wasn't small enough to fit some gaps, so i had to use my hand with the sandpaper, which took longer to sand bits back.

True, i cant really do much now, but i would still like feedback so that i can make future models even better I can admit that this wasn't a perfect job, i sorta rushed through the bondo/sanding phase. I think i could have added bondo in places that i didn't add anything, and sanding was a...

So, i beleive this project is finally finished. Ive completed the weathering effects with chrome paint. Im still considering purchasing an ammo counter and attempting to install it, but it would be extremely hard, as i would have to cut the prop up to get the battery case in. So it looks like...

Ok, so for those who are following this thread, ive basically finished the MA5C with a coat of paint. Im still wanting to add some more paint to the prop, where there are small scratches in the bondo, to give a weathered and scratched effect. Anyway heres more pics... I should...

So today i went out and bought car body filler, paint and a metal barrell... I started on the detailing with the body filler and managed to curve the top of the prop. Ive sanded it back so its ready to paint, even though ive still got plenty of 'bondoing' to do! Anyway heres pics...

Does bondo have different properties to wood putty though?? Like flexibility etc..

Hey guys, found one of the best (and fastest) resining techniques!!! My uncle owns a surfboard shop, so im blessed with resin!!! Anyway the best resin to use is called Suncure polyester resin. Once you apply it you take the piece outside into the sunlight for a few minutes (2-5) and the resin...

Once i get my hands on some bondo like substance i will detail the model and hopefully straighten it!! I couldnt straighten it while resining as i was already using both hands... Im not sure if it is able to be straightened from here as it is pretty solid now. But, i guess i could somehow...

Yeah, people told me to resin first then foam it, but it worked either way!! Yeah unfourtunatly i couldnt get the bend out of it! Hopefully i will aquire a product like bondo in the next couple of days and add some detail to the pep prop!!
