Sonny (sorry if this comes off mean but im trying to be helpful and not mean :) )I felt that some quick passes with different grits of sand paper might make the shrapnel scratches look more realistic also ur white paint looks to "shiny" and new to have been recently blown up. Needs to be dirty...
I started satchimo's halo legends Kelly helm and I did use that tut lol I really don't want to post the picture of how small I made it... It's really really bad and embarrassing lol lets just say it was like a tiny hat for the top of my head lol I didn't finish it once I saw the size problem...
Really likening ur feathers, if ur trying to make a in game looking skirmisher, I'd say try to make gray and lacked weathered looking feathers, but I think if u used the dark red ones (3rd from left and 2nd from right) with a hand full of grays long ones ud get this nice color balance, not to...
Coming along nicely sonny I haven't had any time to work on recon due to weather, so I started a new helm but I scaled it wrong...again...I really need to figure out the size of my head correctly how did u do it? Looks great btw I'm surprised by the cut out area by the visor looks good
all looks good from the inside of the box. tough to say about the the exterior cause we couldnt pop out the carbon fiber mold yesterday hopefully well have more luck on saturday.
untill next time...
