Alright, so I'm looking at the helmet system a bit more in terms of how my head will fit into it realistically and make it so...
Thanks for the mention Harri51, I'll be glad to give some advice!
1/5. The undersuit I made was from the materials, as follows:
a. Motocross armor, looks nice and allows for buckles to be glued on for better part mounting, gives a more "Armor" look for the belly area and helps to prevent belly...
Heck yeah! I've been working on a recluse ambition build and planning it out for he past about year and a half (but have been dreaming of it for a bit over 2 years now), and I didnt decide to make a forum post on it until about a year ago and I've taken a glance at your guy's build a few times...
Shoot, I didn't get a notification that ya both replied, sorry for the delayed response marinesniper and PlanetAlexander. But yeah, Ill certainly check out audacity and try to get back to asking y'all questions here in the next 2 months, since I'll most likely be unable to reach my pc too much...
FREAKING HECK YEAH! And here goes my 50th post, now Harri and Monker don't have to fight for me to get my posts in to adopt me, thank you so much for the heads up Purplehazey!
So yeah, painting the suit of armor in substance painter has been proving to be significantly more difficult that I've been expecting, with the amount of fine details, I might instead talk to a friend to just work the colors in another program for some high quality visuals.
Just a little bump to cycle this up, but does anyone more have some advice for finding people who would fittingly be able to voice act or to what other programs to use?
Update, I'm now starting to understand how to use substance painter and in the next couple of days I am going to try and have a painted reference of the armor's color scheme.
Additionally, on a personal note, not really relating to the design or aesthetics to the armor, I now plan on making...
Dude this work is absolutely incredible! One freaking awesome thing I would imagine about building out of metal, is that any scratch damage to the armor would expose some of the metal under the paint that you choose to use, giving it a much more authentic battle damaged and worn look. Absolutely...
That's looking freaking awesome so far mate! This is an amazing idea that I'll see if my girlfriend we be willing to do when I finish my ambition build in the next 2-3 years, since it is likely that I'll need a handler with my lack of wide vision if my helmet works the way I hope it does. Did...
Holy crap mate! That looks absolutely amazing! My dream here in the next 15-20 years is to learn how to weld and work on vehicles and eventually work my way to be able to build my own hog, absolutely freaking incredible work mate!
Okay, not a big update, but I just realized for Option #1 for my body cooling idea (one my previous mass post within this thread), is that the hydration pack that I listed I totally didnt notice it had a slit in the middle to help with keeping it flat even after melting. In addition to allowing...
Holy crap mate! That looks absolutely awesome! I love the amount of detailing you put on the armor pieces to make it look worn. Do you plan on distressing the under suit to help it match the armor's wear and tear?
