Think of armor building as zen meditation. You just focus and forget about the world for a while. I find its more enjoyable to work in front of a movie or radio, but I work a lot faster with no distractions. I think you just kind of need to figure out what works for you.

As long as you get some extra bracing to make sure it holds up through the strengthening (and weight-adding) phase, you should be fine with any of the lighter paper weights.

the HD chest was brutal. It probably took me about 60 hours of total working time. It wasn't that hard mind you, just really time consuming. I think the bicep was probably my favorite easy piece. Its not that hard to assemble and it comes out looking pretty good. Either that or the lower leg.

I used the high density foam from the neighborhood fabric store similar to other people here, but I went and 'gift wrapped' it in a piece of fabric first. It was really easy to do and it added a lot to the presentation...it was more comfortable too.

BTW, you should make the blood a little more brown. Bright red splotches look very unnatural. Other than that, its a good start you should have a full set in no time.
