scaling a child sized War Machine.

I had problems while scaling warmachine. I did the helmet 3 times, and pretty much everything else 2 times. A problem I encounter is that there are parts that sink in on pieces making it narrower, then after glass and rondo it could be a 1/8-1/4" smaller on each side. But since your daughter...

    Enrisan's Reach/MK VI Hybrid

I have the same problem. I ended having to put the shin on backwards while pointing my toes down. Then after the shin is on, I just spin it the around.

Using Spray Adhesive To Hold Down Fiberglass Cloth.

I used automotive spray adhesive on the inside to keep to glass mat down. the glass mat still lifted in some areas, but it was better than nothing and the resin cured as normal. I think if you work in small sections at a time, it will work better.

If Anyone Is Feeling Helpfull Maby You Could Look In

Bondo is for building up whatever it is, then sanding it down to your preference. I found that sanding it down right after it hardens is the easiest way. Also, spot putty is only for thin coats. If it's too thick, it will just flake off.

    One More Spartan...

I entered a costume contest today, and place 1st in the original category. I don't know how it's the most original, but it's better than nothing.

    One More Spartan...

Hey thanks for the praise ppl! Let me see if I can answer all the questions. For the paint I used Krylon Satin Italian Olive. Before I weathered it, it was much lighter. From the pics it doesn't look as bad I make it sound, but it's a case of good from far, far from good. For some...

    One More Spartan...

Hey, fellow 405th members. I finally finished my Mk VI suit. Took me 8 months working on it about every other day. Had to rush it to get it done for haloween. I'm not satisfied with it and I'd like to remake most of my armor, but it's not in the budget for me. Edit: I have to thank all...

    Dan's Mark Vi

Wow, that's some smooth armor you're producing. I like how you installed the fans and batteries in your helmet. Looks professional. Are you using the foamies method for all the extra details? I wouldn't worry about the pinholes, it matches the weathering. Unless you're going for the brand...

    My First Helmet/armor Build

Well done Liq and Amanda! I was wondering how's your range of motion? I lost a lot of mobility in my arms. Just wondering if you ran into that problem.

    Question About Helmet Strength

Well if you're going through with this no matter what, I think your dad was talking about kevlar cloth. Here's a link: http://www.fiberglasssupply.com/Product_Catalog/Reinforcements/Carbon_and_Kevlar/carbon_and_kevlar.html?gclid=CMLYpaHn1p0CFRESawod9HZFrg it's toward the bottom.
