Space Marine Pep Models (update Post #29)

college is killing my time to work on modeling :( , I haven't even printed a sm helm for myself yet! I am planning on putting together some vids on making sm armor from pep, foam, and 1/4" plywood/luan/something. Chest: not sure if this was posted or not. here it is anyways. Also just to...

Looking at this if you did the chest piece it would be nice! I am also planning an Eldar Guardian helm, eventually.

    My Finished Space Marine Helmet.

Wow! Turned out nice! I like the metal tubing, looks better than if made of paper.

$100?! Thats it? Most ringmail suits are several hundred themselves... The Ren Fair here isn't that great but I have always wanted to make some cool armor like that, I may finally get started on it.

Thought the grills and all had been covered in glass. For "visors" in the eyes go to a local hobby store like micheals or hobby lobby and grab some plastic paneling for framing or some colored pvc sheets. They bend easily, though they are clear both ways.

Is this the original version? I notice the ears are bigger. Very nice so far, though looks like some detail was lost in the mouth.

    Request For Original Files

If you will be CNCing I would suggest get a high res 3D model or do the original in a hard foam or other material and then finish off before molding.

Space Marine Pep Models (update Post #29)

no, probably not by DOW2 unless I do nothing else.... as for helms I may just stick to what there is, I want to try and finish the other parts of the suit instead of having 800000000 helmet variants.

    Last Question

folding a sphere out of paper or cardboard would take a lot longer than a balloon. If you do use a balloon though try to find one that does make a sphere, not a pear shape or other.

DoW2 is my date to finish some basic marine armor. I plan to go Blood Ravens Chapter on color, at least for release. Captain Shrike just finished the Corvus helm on L40K. Here: http://s1.zetaboards.com/Legions_of_40K/topic/880473/1/ Check the bottom. I found a story about a group of marines...

No word yet from any of the unfolders. I would do it myself, but do not have full pep and no money to get it (spent what I had on 5th ed rulebook and the new kingdom hearts game). I can tell you that the bolter is now in pieces and can be made as a bolter, bolt pistol, or combi weapon!

The chest? no, not really. But there is a section on the front that refuses to weld...
