    Another Space Marine

I dunno if there's a difference, but in the States they sell LaCrosse gloves...I get fair dexterity out of mine ( I used to use them when sparring with kendo sticks). And they both have thumb padding. Picked mine up at a Dicks Sporting Goods.

Well, then how about a water system, for that Florida humidity? :)

    Trying To Work Around Cardstock...

Spray adhesive is nasty to work with indoors, I'd suggest rubber cement. coat the piece of cardstock, and the back of the printoff, allow to dry, then carefully place together and squish. Not as nasty as spray, but it stinks to high heaven. Open a window when doing such :)

Good idea, but just be aware that the actual midsection is *supposed* to be flexible...I don't suppose we'll need that "flexiness" so much :)

    W40K Imperial Guard Kasrkin

OK...got the basic hard plates all modeled (I think). I'll post pics in a bit, but if someone wants to unwrap them, they can. I'll try to do it myself later this week when I get the time. Here's pics of the smoothed (mostly) plates. Front: [attachment=13625:Body Front.jpg] Back...

    W40K Imperial Guard Kasrkin

Probably not, unless someone really wants it seperate...the regular Imperial Guard helmets are different, and I'm under the impression that the mask and helmet for the Kasrkin Guards are one piece...as for aquilas, i'm gonna model the armor to be as basic as I can, and maybe go back later to add...

    W40K Imperial Guard Kasrkin

Here goes...I am in the process of creating a set of Kasrkin Guard Armor. I currently have the helmet modeled (and pepped!) and would like some feedback. This build is rather simple, but may take some time due to prior obligations. So without further ado, I present the first images of the...

That's pretty cool. I would like to point out, that also following the fiction, the Marines themselves are abnormally large, with "giantism' apparent in their features. If you were to actually scale up the minatures perfectly, a human still wouldn't fit right in it...shoulders are too broad...

Space Marine Pep Models (update Post #29)

I know, really old reply..But it is Possible to extract the Warhammer models from Dawn of War, Heres a link with directions on exporting To 3D Studio Max. Or, For those without Max, heres a spiffy tool that does kind of the same thing. You'll probably have to unpack the .SGA archives with this...

    Beaky Space Marine Wip

I'm currently trying to model that paricular kind of helmet, but in the updated form...That one appears to be modelled on one of the very early "non-beaky" helmets...I haven't touched 3Ds Max for over a year, need to work those rusty skills :) . I'll link you when I finish... *edit* For...

    Beaky Space Marine Wip

Indeed :) . Did you happen to use the models out of Dawn of War (that being asked, they can really only be opened in 3Ds Max)? I know that most game engines convert quads to triangles because they are easier for the engine to handle, but it's far easier to work with quads in pep design, I...
