So its coming to that point in time that I will be leaving my deployment AO and returning home soon. So unfortunately, I had to ship everything home. Worry not followers!! I will continue the project at home. Where I will have more free time and tools to use. Until then, Merry Christmas and...
It was a nightmare!! All done before Christmas too.. hahaha. Actually finished before Thanksgiving. I am currently applying the cast on, and that is more of a nightmare. I have to get a dremel to start smoothing out the areas where there are grooves. Also, some areas are thicker than others...

Now today I am going to start using Cast-On. I chose this option because I can't use fiberglass around the barracks and its a little easier to use. Hopefully this turns out well. There are some spots I messed up on, but this is my...
So I finished the helmet today...Finally! Lol. It's 3 am, I'm going to get some sleep and post photos tomorrow before work. I'm going to start the hardening process tomorrow. Yay! Stay tuned folks!

Upchuck, who were you with?
I noticed that you failed the mention the massive amounts of IT time...not to mention your abbreviations of the rank structure are partially incorrect. when were you in, because according to your profile you're not much older than I am.
The helmet turned out great! I am trying to build a UNSC trooper armor set, I'm just not sure what to use as far as the under vest portion goes and I cannot find a pep file for the abdominal plate. Any suggestions?
