I'm going to mix all sorts of stuff when I finish my armor. Or well, mostly shoulder pieces and knee pieces. I say go with whatever you think will look good.

Following too! Really curious on how you're going to make that ab/chest piece too. Do you plan on making it moveable or will it just be one solid piece?

I'd say it might depend on how you want your armor to look. Magnets really make a neat and clean looking design, while straps and holsters gives a bit more rough, modern-day combat look. I'll essentially weather my spartan quite a bit and stuff it with pouches and accessories, so I think straps...

Yeah, I'd say the same thing. EVA foam is easy to learn and you could end up with a good result even the first time. Pepakura is great for helmets, if you can access the right materials and such. My first experience made me really frustrated but I was in a rush so I'm sure you could make it...

With the proper tools, you could get a thicker type of plastic glass (plexi-glass type), and put a reflective see-through mirror file on it. I ordered from MDP Supplies: Privacy / One Way Mirror Film. Otherwise I'd just do as earlier stated, get a motorcycle visor and cut the right shape from that.

If you don't want to spend money on those I could always, you know, wear it for you! And eh, keep it in my house and wear it when going to conventions! :) Jokes aside though, I'd also love to make his MG. Too bad I'm not that experienced with making armors and stuff. Though my current build in...
