Hey all! So here's a look at what I've been & still am working on for Chicago Comic Con!!
3 Halo Spartan Suits!!!
1st is mine:

2nd is my girfriends:

still working on pepping her helmet.

3rd is my buddy's Reach style.

Thanks all for the great support!! I had started doing everything myslef, but now my buddy who'll be wearing the Reach Mk. V is doing all the pepping, & I'm doing the resin/fiberglass/bondo/rondo/paint/etc. lol. Yep, all major suites covered!! we figured it'd be cooler than just all 3 of us w/ the same variation. I like the simpler, more streamlined Mk. V, for my g/f. I like the bulkier Mk. VI, & my buddy really likes the Reach Mk. V. I plan on having everything done by August 21st. The main day of Chicago Comic Con. I'll be adding pics as things continue to get finished, then pics of finished suites in action!!! Thanks again all!!!

i love it. i really love the color choices too. black and any color work really well, but especially if you use one of the primary colors.

Here's a few update pics. my girlfriends armor is just about done, waiting for the thighs & feet covers to dry, & still need to give her helmet color accents, battle damage, & a visor. got one of my bicep pieces done too. my buddy is hard at work putting the pep together, then i can finish w/ resin, fiberglass,etc. let me know what you think!!

Love the color scheme also.

I would say try to hide the fold lines on the armor a bit more. Try sanding it lightly so it's not a sharp edge, and don't dry brush every angle, just the key ones, so the folds aren't as noticeable. Too many folds makes it look like a pep file. This is most noticeable on your girlfriend's forearm pieces. It's doesn't seem to appear as much in your other armor though.

Overall great work though, and can't wait to see it finished.
