I'm new to this as well but looking at a few of my larger test prints and how much is left I'm going to say average 12 to 16 in total depending on modifications in size and infill etc. I built two 20 cm busts and a 10 cm bust (plus all the fails-20+) and am only just under half a roll of petg left.

Guaranteed someone on here will have a more precise answer for you though bro.

How much material depends on your size, the bulkiness of your files and your settings.
You could have files that are thick, double walled, or thin and single walled.
You could be skinny 5'2" or a 6'5" body builder.
You might be printing 1mm walls or 3mm walls.
For a fair estimate you need to scale your files to you then slice all your files and add up the totals. Spreadsheets are nice for this.|

If you haven't done armor before double or triple your total. Because you'll be making 2-3 of every part playing Goldilocks.
  • This one is too big
  • This one is too small
  • This one is good around but too long and locking up the elbow
  • Ah... This one will work

Youre best just going along with each piece one at a time as this worked for me. You can also upload all the files to slicer software and it will tell you how much fillament it will need. Thats the easy way to tell instead of trying to guess. You can also improve the speed of the print/ use less material if you increase wall thickness and reduce infill to about 3%

Great question! If you're me, alot. I am using a mixture of Aguilar Workshop, Galactic Armory, and From The Brink files for my ODST and I have gone through 15, going on 16, spools so far. The armor itself took around 10-12, but through prototyping, failed prints, support material, and other props, I've gone far past that. Like the others above have said it depends on your physical build (tall, short, skinny, large, etc.) but I'd allocate for at least 10-12 rolls.
