I'm 3D printing the Mark 7 from Infinite and am currently planning out the boots. I'm currently planning to print the version from the free 3d model index that doesn't include a cutout for a shoe to build around it. I'm printing in PLA+ and was wondering if this is feasible? Some of my friends have told me it'll be hard to walk in because of how rigid the material is. I could build it around a shoe but this is a more time efficient and simpler solution for me. Thanks in advance

It's been a while since I looked at the Mk 7 files, but is the boot section split into two parts, that sit over shoes? This would allow for the foot to flex so you don't have to clomp and stomp your way around.

Could start experimenting with flexible filaments, though you'd need a direct drive for that.
What kind of printer are you using?
