Completely forgot that I wanted to post some pics of these two after I got to 50 posts...

They're both still under construction so there are lots of things to fix.
First, the Plasma Pistol:

It started out as an enlarged image of the H2 plasma pistol that I transferred to a piece of MDF/Triboard, after that I started building up the basic shape with more MDF and started to shape it all with the sander. That's about as far as I've got, I did start cutting in some details and quickly primed it but it's been sitting on the bench for a few months now... will get back to it as soon as I'm done with the armor :)

Next is the M6C Pistol:

BAsically the same as the P.Pistol, printed a scaled image onto a piece of scrap wood and started chewing out details with the dremel. Most of the details are done now, just have to tidy some stuff up and re-prime it. You can also see the two holes I bored in the side to hold two rare earth magnets... which work really well BTW :)

I'll update and add more pics of these and all the other weapons I'm working on as I make more progress.

As always, comments, crits, and questions welcomed :)

damn i wish i could do something like this great work i hope to see this finished adn also great work with your eod chest plate

thats very cool u should make the M6C into a real working airsoft.

if u can that is...
[is this a challenge? :)]

thats pretty nice

i still cannot understand how you guys that use dremels get such precise details with it.

i can barely sand anything down with out messing anything up...........

You take your time and do everything carefully.

OP: This is one of the few quality low-budget scratch-built weapons I have seen here. Kudos.

I think it'd be way too hard to try and convert it to an airsoft pistol (since it's a solid hunk of wood) but I guess it might be possible to cast a hollow version and fit the guts of another pistol inside... might look at that at a later date.

As Vrogy said, take your time and do everything carefully :) I've also had years of practice... having said that, I certainly didn't get it right the first time, there were plenty of mistakes that I made but with a little bondo I managed to fix most of them ;)

Just realized while looking through the versions... I think this is the first M6C I've seen.

Weta made the M6G(my fav)
Link did the M6D.

I haven't found any references to the A, B, E, or F. I'll bet Bungie has sketches of them in a file somewhere... >_>

Looking great Belakor! You are a mna of many talents, can't wait to see more of your work!

Ah, that was before my time. Also, it hasn't shown up other places much..

Maybe we need to organize some stickies for this sorta thing. A list of weapon models and links to build threads, with a thumbnail of each would be really helpful for folks wanting to cut to the chase and find what they want to get or build.
