a new creation

ok as it says something new that started out as a holloween idea but has kinda taken on a life of its own. started about a week ago decided to expand on a hellraiser idea i had but the build has been evoloving into something else.... feed back wanted at this point though no detail work being done yet just basic structure.

ok now these are some quike 5 minute designs i drew out recently as it kept changing while is was building (i kept refusing to put things on paper loll) so i figured id get all planned out o paper an show the progress

ok now this is a big jump but here we go a 2 week period has past lots of mastakes bigest problem i had was making it look as though the body was kida distorted an sub human...ish

Is this an original design? Or is it based from a concept/construction already in existence?

its an original design as far as chest pieces and mask ive recently been infleuenced by alot hellraiser predatorish type stuff as well as some of clive barkers stuff (one of my favorite figurine lines) some of the armor type stuff like shoulder pad was influenced alot by this as well but the character is based on some of my original art work that was published in a freinds book a year ago but recently ive been leaning tword gears of war type concepts but not much so no there is no build as far as i know in exhistance like this.

thanks guys im glad to get such positive feedback usually people are real harsh when it comes to stuff like this any one have any ideas or suggestions here i stilll need to get ahold of a dremel to do detail work though

I did have an idea that I saw today but your a bit beyond it now, using latex you could have made the armour from moulds and filled them with latex and something like wire for strength. but then I guess you could mould the foam and use the mould to make it all from reinforced latex pieces. just an idea throwing it out there

yeah i had actually considered that it wouldnt be hard to make a fiber glass mold i might actually do that later.

Kudos on the original influx of ideas. So many people make clones. Although there is nothing wrong with recreating what you like, it is nice to see some originality once in a while. I find that more inspiring than seeing the 500th Ironman mk 3 or whatever.

no progress made yet was too sick but im gonna working on it tonight. gonna pick up some nerf guns today to modd an make into some cool stuff for costume.

this was the original i eventually had published i started out with this in my head then added a whole lotta other things that didnt really mesh together but wantted to use so my character evolved into something a bit different but still really cool
