I am trying to make the HALO Turret in 1 Week or less, befor the 16th February, cause we have Karneval that Day and i wanted something bigger than a MA5C, so i decidec 2 Days ago to make the Turret the easy and cheap Way, but looking good enough for a Replica.

Also i have a new Workspace with a large Table, so i can work the real Way now^^

The Turret gonna build out off Material from the local DIY Market.

For the Shooting-Shell i use a big Waterpipe, 16cm Diameter is the biggest i could get, wanted 20cm, but this is okay.

The Barrels will also normal Waterpipes, the Handles, Shields and the Rest gonna be made out of Wood.

I think it could be finished this Week with all and then paint it.

Finished the Grip on the Back, if i make the two other Grips, that are not used when mobilized, belongs on how fast i am finished the whole Turret, secondary Parts too.

I finished the Barrel Mounting, also the Flashhider Basics and the Barrel Stabilizer. The Barrels are mounted to the Top via Resin and Fiberglas and Urethan.

Tomorrow i gonna make the Shield Holder and the upper Foregrip, think i am done with the whole Think next Week.

those pieces are looking really good. Im pretty sure this is going to be awesome when done and assembled. any weight estimations yet?

Well, it might be a little heavyer than i expected, but can live with that.

But i hope not more than the Weight of an M249.

Roadwarrior: Nope, that´s a standard and cheap Gluegun, but when i got too much Money i will buy some Stuff from them again, already have 2 Powertools from them, one with 230V and one with Battery^^

New Pictures coming when i am Home!

I can't wait to see this thing Finished!

Here you got the 90% finished Version without Balancing Weightsin the Rear and without Details like the Shell-Exit etc..

And i don´t think i could transport it the whole Day and Night on the 16., cause this Thing is heavyer than a M239, it comes near to a M134A^^

THAT'S AWESOME! how do you plan on painting it( some battle damage would look pretty BA on there)? and why not build a tripod for it if its a bit heavy to carry around?

After checking the Sizes i will make the Shields a little smaller, about 20-30%, that gonna reduce the Weight a little more.

Painting goes Gunmetal Black and Grey, if i make Damage-Effects belongs on how long i need for the regular Painting.

Tripod comes eventually, if i need it for Storage.

But i don´t carry it around the whole Day, i´m gonna store it at a Place for later and then take it for a Location around it.

I am gonna use my MA5C and i hope the Plasma Rifle, that i ordered from p0rtalman, comes ASAP.
