Inspired by a few comments exchanged with a new member... I remembered and old link that I have for the wonders of photoshop.

Check this link and click on portfolio... its amazing what a little or a lot of touching up can do to make beautiful people look more beautiful... if you feel like you are slightly on average, feel better, most famous people are average looking day to day also.

Isn't it funny to see how all the gorgeous pictures in magazines start out just as average as our family photos ;D

They really do an amazing job. I think the new versions look more natural than the originals. Take a mediocre picture and make it hollywood. What a fun gig.

Edit: I noticed Halle Berry didn't need any retouching hardly ;) She's just that pretty.

over photoshopping is my #1 petpeeve. Most of those pictures are ok, but seriously, pores, and imperfections make faces look BETTER. You airbrush to remove "tired" looking marks etc. not to redo skin texture. It is very very easily noticable.

Like the last pic on the bottom right. He got rid of her freckles? WHY!?!

Maybe it's because some people are scared of gingers? lol
(I am ><)

*Some* freckles are cute tho. Should have left some in, I agree.

Edit: Wow I just watched the second You Tube video. LOL. This is why I stay FAR away from Myspace hahaha. Someone commented, "You don't need Photoshop to do this. Beer is cheaper." Good laugh.

Kinda sad is I forget it's not real, but I still fall for "geez I don't have a six pack and my skin isn't like porcelin" and these remind me. Yeah glass skin is eerie XP

Hmmm thats interesting.
Nice to see the differences from original and retouched picture. There you see how huge the model-industry lies really are sometimes. :D :D :D :D
