For those of you that are into the Steampunk aesthetic and saw the first watch that I got finished making (Steam Age Watch #1) and posted up in this section, Here's another one for your viewing pleasure! Made this one out of copper tube couplers, nickel silver sheet, stainless steel screws, brass nuts, brass sheet, and copper sheet. The Chrome chain was off of a pocket watch that bit the dust a few years back.

Got finished with this after 2 straight days of working including pulling an all nighter. This was a Christmas gift for my sister who loved it. And funny story behind it is that I took it to Home Depot with me so that I could remember to get stuff for it if I needed to pick anything up for it while I was picking up rivets to finish making the massive wall hanging that I was doing for my parents. On the way out the security guy (what a wonderful slums that North Philly is...) thought that it was a detonator because the movement was already set in place and running and got a bit freaked out (6:00 am, too early in the morning to be dealin' with that sh!t) about the whole thing. Gotta love Home Depot.
Anyway, I liked this design so much that I'm gonna be making more and you can pick one up of you're interested. Details are on my metalworkers.org page.
