alright I'm a noob and i kinda need help on a project...

so i just recently made this profile and mainly for one reason to learn and get help from the pros. now the trouble I've been having is that i cant seem to get down the Technic of finding foam friendly halo reach armor files for pepakura. i was thinking about just doing it free hand but i don't think i have the... skills yet to do that.

and the suit is a standard Spartan suit from halo reach but with a ODST helmet and a tactical pad with a couple ammo pouches on the chest. links are welcome and i would appreciate help.

Many of L3X BLU3R1V3R's ar very Foam friendly. As a matter of fact, his v4 chest is laid out as a foam template file. The reason you are having trouble though is tat many people use the normal files as their foam templates. all you are really doing is taking away the the 1/16" or 1/8" etc. undercuts from a file and replacing them with that thickness of foam.

Forgot I actually made a sort of Tutorial for this too. Dang near any question you have about foam armoring should be answered in one form or another in this thread.
