American Mcgee's Alice: Mad Hatter Costume

Hey, everybody. Since Yoda and my CNC chief won't be done for quite some time, I decided on going as the Mad Hatter this year. Not just any Mad Hatter; American McGee's Mad Hatter! I've always loved this design, and have loved the game since I was a child.



Here's some of my WIP shots. Gotta get the rest finished by the big day!

I started off with an old woman mask from the Halloween shop.

Then I sculpted the details.

And now I'm working on finishing it up! Pics soon.



I'm almost done with the vest. I'm currently working on the straps, and should have them done soon.

wow dude lookin pretty good so far i played and the beat the game right after it first came out on the pc and loved it i wish that this is wat Tim Burtons Alice was based off of

That's a pretty sweet hat you got there (understatement), and the sculpted mask parts seem to be going along well.



Can't wait for more progress!

Overall, I'm pretty happy with it. However, I do plan on finishing it to the best of my ability. Probably going to remake the mask entirely, redo the back gear and arm gears, and make an actual vest for wearing instead of my cook vest.
