Animated Gifs

Hello

I have noticed many of you have animated GIF icons, and I was wondering if anyone could give me a very brief tutorial on how to make these icons. I have searched the forums and google, and I do not know how to make a gif animation that is 50 kilobytes. Also, many of you have icons that have tons of frames- how is this possible to compress to make it fit in the 50 kilobyte limit?

I have a gif maker.I make a video , then using windows media player, I make it slow motion and take pictures.The program I use is called " Unlead GIF Animator 5 ".Google it
