Hey 405th
I recently got Cross Fire on PC, you don't have to buy it is free to download but I was wondering if anyone here is into Cross Fire? It is really addicting to play and in a way it is kinda like Call of Duty sadly not anything like Halo =( but just wondering if there is anyone else that likes it

Negative, I have not gotten...caught up in the, Ca-ross Fi-er! Sorry, had to do it (early 90's boardgames were rarely as stellar as Crossfire).

I haven't tried Crossfire (the PC game) but it looks cool. Talking about cool freeware...a couple of years ago Bungie released the code for the three Marathon games. If anyone's interested they can be downloaded and played with the AlephOne open-source program (also available for free). The games are a bit dated but it's neat seeing where Bungie (and Halo) got it's footing. Much of Halo's feel and multiplayer structure started with Marathon.

oh that's cool, i don't like crossfire as much because it is nothing like halo =P halo is da bomb

I used to play both of those. but then I started beta testing Battlefield play 4 free late last year... I just never got into cross fire after the awesomeness that EA gave me lol. I loved combat arms. I have no clue why I quit playing. But if you like free fps games, you should check out: http://battlefield.play4free.com/en/home

and last but not least http://www.nplay.com/BeGone/

Out of all of the games above, I would say that battlefield play4free is the best if you like a modern take on fps games but you need a really good GPU to run it smoothly.
