Are heatguns good for eva foam

I plan on making armor soon and wondering if its good for cutting Eva foam

If you can manage to make a heatgun cut foam accurately, I need to see your technique for reasons.

List of things that I use that are good for cutting foam.

1. OLFA Box Cutters (straight cuts)
2. 9mm Snap-Off Utility Knives (curves)
3. Scroll saw (bevels)

List of things that aren't great at cutting foam but will work if you try hard enough.

1. Thoughts and prayers.
2. Hopes and dreams.
3. The power of love.

I have made an attempt with it. Was not a fan. Mainly cuz I just sucked with it.
I have seen other people using it with great results.
If you do decide to use a hot knife, make sure you take all the safety precautions. A well ventilated room and a respirator with that proper filter cartridges. A hot knife melts the foam, not cut. So you don't want to be breathing that stuff in.
