Hello Everyone.... Thought I'd share the pictures of the progress of my MK VI armor. Enjoy! :)

I decided to separate the cod plate into three pieces that way if i get bigger or smaller it will fit me. (I'm 26 now so im talking about gaining a gut). In addition if i wanted to lend it, it would make it more of a one size fit all.

:)... now just waiting on more pieces from Adam.

BTW TY SB for an awesome helmet. I still am working to do the double visor.

for a moment before the whole pic loaded, i though "Why are you on the Floor...." and then "Ohhhh, i get it now" hehe

Seriously though, nice work so far! great, great job! but the handplates look tiny....

Haha. Agreed. I was worrying about the same thing. I was trying to lose some weight (Wii Fit has me on the heavy end of ideal, almost overweight :cautious: ) so I worried that the cod plate would be too loose. But as it is I seem to be only increasing my gut size. Damn you Ben and Gerries!!
Anyway, it's looking really good Hayato, nice paint job. Looking forward to seeing the rest done.

hmm... ill look into making some bigger ones... its interesting cuz i can almost palm a bball, and its about the size of my hand... maybe when the whole thing is done with the strapping you can have another look for me? :)....

haha yeah... for me the problem is just food... i love it aha in the last year i put on like 10 pds (which never really happened before. I have an extremely fast metabolism that is catching up to me). Im still contemplating how exactly im going to do it... the best way at this time, I'm guessing is to put some hinges on it with maybe epoxy... regular glue doesnt work well with nonpourous stuff ehe...

Im contemplating how i wil be doing strapping too... but im guessing a load bearing vest along with a pressure suit will fix my issues,...

I think it looks great... I agree with Centerside about the handplates and I am also curious on if you used a clay model or pep.

its muckle cast from Adam. I just heavily sanded it, cut out places, and bondoed it.. Unfortunately i cant claim that I made this from pep or clay... I simply used tools/painted it to make it look better.

As far as actual pepakura, I have glassed and dont pep before, I just didnt have the time to fold all those HD files (some of the work I see on here is absolutely fantastic.)

Another reason why I bought all the pieces is because, 1. I dont have the patience for pepakura, 2. I moved out of a house and into an apartment so glassing and storing my armor would be a problem.

You can see the armor now is sitting at my Gf's parents house where i go on the weekends to work on it :)....

It will be cool, cous we both have the same version of armor
