Props Barrett 50 cal?!

So, I'm more of a prop maker than a costume maker. Id prefer to make weapons, and other objects for the modern warrior. So I don't want a pep model because all of the ones I have found are very strenuous to build. So I was wondering does anyone have blueprints I can build from, dimensions and other info needed for building. Much regards

Well since it is a real weapon your after have you tried looking up the specs online? You may be able to get the specs from Barrett's website as most gun manufacturers put out PDF's of their owners manuals to aid their customers.

This guy has been selling airsoft build plans for the Barrett .50 and other weapons for a while. His plan uses heavy sheet aluminum and hand tools (no mill/lathe) and looks pretty good. I've given some thought to trying his plan after I'm done with the Splaser.
