Battle Rifle

Yes I was about to say the same. It just seems to be a reduced sized replica. Might come in handy for referencing though. Good find.

Master Replicas made it, it's 1:6(ish) scale, and they also made a Covenant Carbine.

I thought about buying one... then my wife told me I could just build a full size one. Would be handy for reference, but there's plenty of reference on the web, so I saved the 20 bucks.

yea, didnt notice the dimensions until latter, but still good reference, and paperweight
You know there is this expanding stuff for moldmaking wich allows you to 'englarage' your models... it wouldnt be that convient for a helmet but it would work for this br.

hahha maybe, but how much of that stuff would you need to actually get a good scaled one?!

The enlarging material (see Expandit ) will typically enlarge models by about 50% which would mean that this is possible, but you would need to enlarge it in stages, with multiple moldings and castings. Each casting would loose detail and add imperfections, so the end result may not look entirely as nice as the smaller original. Also the enlarging process can create distorions such as warping..

Pssible but not very practical. I think it would take less work to built it from scratch or Pepakura

Someone actually posted an expanding thingy earlier with a scoopy doo being englaraged... i dont remeber wich topic... but you could mix the amount yourself to get the size ration correct.
