I am using the 31.9 (full) size for my helmet! :wowie:

are you planning on going all the way and fiberglassing or finishing it in some way? or are you just doing this as a practice/for fun type thing?

How big is your head? Cause my first one was too small and I'm having an odd feeling that my second may be too small too.

i had the same problem
it looks just right but you cant get your head into it
i just made the base of the skull hinged

there is an easy way to tell if your helmet is too small. assemble this part first.

this part is the part that you have to fit your head into on the bottom. for full scale you also have to split the upper visor holder-thing into three pieces.

it really doesnt matter if its inside out, it looks great. thats all that matters

if you cover every part of the outside with fiberglass resin then it sholden't matter.
