Bondo on paint?

Will the bondo stick? I was told that if the paint chips, the bondomay fall off. Is it true?

Or just sand off the paint.

yeah, just use 80 grit sandpaper and get rid of as much paint as possible... remember, bondo sticks best to a rough or scuffed surface...

Paint chips easily, having bondo on a painted surface is dangerous, it could just come off with the paint.
