Building Scout Gen 4 Armor (My First Armor Set){And some fun}

Hey Y'all!
I just go by Kat, and I figured I'd give this a shot as I have never done this before, but I decided to take a crack at buildin some armor. I've done a lot of cosplays in the past but have barley ever worked on EVA foam at such a major level. (Usually only used it for like small pieces and accessories.)

I am not perfect, and I do suffer from a slight disorder in my one hand, but I didn't want that stopping me from doing this. My build is most likely gonna be a bit messy, and certainly not clean, but I have learned a-LOT from what I've been doing in the past year. I built 2 other helmets.

The first helmet I had done was a ODST helmet and I learned a lot from just cutting the foam. (But said helmet was waaaaaaay to big for me. And not built well.)
But learning from that, and with some dremeling, I wanted to tackle my personal dream armor: The Scout Gen 4 one.

But the first helmet.....
It didn't go so well. I had scaled it on the wrong part, and it was so big, just the bottom of the helmet sat on my shoulders! But I still built it fully as it was practice and taught me a lot. It looks nice and all, and yes kinda plain as this was just the base structure, but it was a more successful helmet, so I took it as a win. But trust me, it was too big for me. :(
(The 2nd image is both the old and new build of the helmet to really show the size comparison: and also how the 2nd is less complicated and more smoother)

So thats why I decided to do it again, scale it right, and start building!

Thats me! :0 The helmet fits quite comfortably and currently placed in it (with just some tape) is a plastic visor piece made from some plastic sheet and vinyl tint I do have. (That will not be the actual visor, I am doing a color, this is just because it looks nicer than seeing my tired eyes through foam or plastic)
I just finished adding more of the details by basing it from the reference photos I took of my Armor from MCC.

I know, I know. Its still a bit messy, (I also marked battle damage) and I plan to run the Dremel back over in some areas and rub some acetone over the extra glue bits, but I am so far happy with how it turned out. Its taken a long while to get this far due to my hand troubles and other works, but I figured I'd share as I am determined to finish this up finally and start building the full armor set. :]

Thanks for readin if you did! I hope to just kinda post if I finish up anything for the armor here for just plain fun. ;)
