Can Aqua Resin Be Substituted With Epoxy?

On the step of resining the armor and fiberglassing it, is it okay to substitute the aqua resin with epoxy?

i got a large supply of epoxy from my woodshop and I dont want to waste $30+ to buy new aqua resins

i guess the only way to find out is to try it

I'm sure it can work, it's just I'd feel it would be hard to get even coats on the inside (you could rig up some type of rotisserie motor mount for drying I would suppose), and not to mention the epoxy leaking in/out of the piece since you won't be sealing the paper with resin.

i used epoxy,after the first coat in and out ...i did my helm in stages ,right,left,then the front & back....cloth was better than the matt
