Can you make an armor piece just out of apoxie sculpt/magic sculpt or premo sculpey?

I saw this guy use magic sculpt and I was wondering how hard that stuff can get (I know apoxie sculpt is the same thing, but which is better?). Also, I was wondering if premo sculpey can be used instead of the other two. If non of them are strong enough by themselves, what can be done to strengthen them?

Magic sculpt is wonderful stuff, I used it on my security helmet in the link in my sign. Gets as hard as epoxy Amy day, but it would take a huge amount to sculpt a whole set of armor.
