Just about now i made the neck piece for the FS chest plate and it doesn't seem to fit my head at all. When i look at the chest itself on pep viewer and thought if i were to shave off some side of it but it doesn't seem too likely. My guess is that i would have to stop doing the FS version and do the other chest piece which is less detailed and i rather not do so. Any suggestions?

Have you completed most of the chest? That would suck. If you're not too far in, scale it up in pepakura and redo it, or make a less detailed tester piece first.

If only the neck piece doesn't fit, you should cut some away( that's what I did)
DOes it fit around your neck? you could cut your armor in half (chest and backpack) like most people do.
Here is a picture of mine

This is normal. I have finished my torso piece and as you will see from the pic it looks like it fits perfectly. I cant fit my head in the torso piece at all even though I still have already cut alot away. Ill have to cut it in half and put it on that way. My advice is if you are unsure about the size is to assemble the front first since there is less detail there, leave the back open so you can pull the neck piece apart in the back to test fit it, then take a pic and get an opinion. Here is a link to show what it should look like.

i think most people are putting the whole thing together first and after going to cut it apart. the hole for you head it ment for your head for only for you neck to fit around (henc the two pieces). i left mine in two (at first) but i am going to glue it back together.
