I know there is a difference and different kinds of respirators, I have one from previous projects, but I've never worked with resin, so which is the right kind? And how do I tell what kind mine is?

Thanks in Advance

A "NIOSH APROVED" respirator.

Make sure that the cartridge for the respirator is designed for organic solvents.

I'm not sure if it's NIOSH approved, I can't see any kind of labels that says so, but it does say "Effective against all particulate aerosols" Does that mean fumes or dust?

Resin isnt a aerosol, so ditch the mask, get one that is NIOSH approved.

It's dust.

I was thinking of getting this one. Its Niosh approved, so you may want to look into it.
The respirator looks fine but make sure that the cartridge is designed for organic solvents.

Right. Organic vapors is the correct description right?

I saw a cheap 20 dollar respirator which looked similar at big lots, it claimed "Blocks paint fumes, chemical fumes, and other strong/dangerous airbone scents" it wasn NIOSH approved, but it might work to a certain decent.

Just remember folks, buy the right thing, or end up in the hospital and forget about making armor. If you want good armor, and your life, buy a respirator.

Aerosol masks only protect from spray paints (not airbrushes) and dust.

A niosh aproved mask protects from any fumes excluding carbon dioxide and oxygen.
