This is great SgtSkittle117 ! I know I'll be making one at some point. I'm also curious to look up some of those. Never heard of a handheld sewing machine

Could you post a link up there to the box/case that you're using to hold everything, or something similar? And maybe a link to where you got that case for the scissors.

I also think we should encourage other members to comment below with any other repair products they don't cosplay without. I know around here people are a fan of cosbond pressure tape.

Thanks for posting this!

A good idea for the box would be a tackle kit for fishing. A handheld sewing machine is basically a stapler that sews...

This is just my opinion on hand held sewing machines... I find them to be hit and miss... I have had poor experiences with them. The last one I had broke after testing it out on a scrap piece of material. After sewing a few stitches, the needle would move but no thread would stitch. I looked up some YouTube vids to see how to fix, I found one... it ended up make it worse and the thing broke.:cry::cry:

Nice to see that other people had the same idea xD
We actually have a repairbooth at some cons in Austria and we have almost everything that is needed xD
Helping another cosplayer in distress is a nice way of sharing and getting knowledge!

We always have a little repair kit in our car. With hot glue, screws, glue, bobby pins... and much more xD we carry that stuff in a amunition box. Looks nice and is easy to handle xD

In my Venator kit, I have a built in pouch on the interior of the chest plate that holds a little bottle of Superglue. I originally made it for a mini sized hot glue gun, and it worked fine, but it was just a hassle having to tuck it in and out of the chest plate after I used it. Super glue easy.
