1st Build Current progress on fully 3D printed spartan 3 armor (First build!)

This is my first build and I'm pretty happy with it so far! let me know what you guys think or if you have any questions about my build process! Few months in on this one at the moment!

Thanks man! For the weathering I paint the whole thing down in a dark silver then do a few coats of clear coat so the silver doesn’t scratch off, then I do my coats of my actual color and go at the edges with different grits of sand paper to get different severities of scraping and scratches exposing the silver underneath, then for a bit more realism I dilute some black acrylic paint and paint the entire thing black then wipe away the black paint with a wet rag that way the black only stays in the cracks and scratches and deep in the corners making it look like dirt, then I hand paint a few dirt marks in areas I want more in. As for my printer I use an ender 3 pro with the ender extender 400XL upgrade giving me a 400x400x500 build surface

Amazing work so far! Are those the files by NerdForgeDesigns/fletchasketch3 ? If so I am in the process of printing them as well. I have the UA Multithreat Shoudler but tempted to get the Security ones and ODST chest peice so I can customise at different conventions

Thank you! It's a mix of nerdforge and some files directly from the game files, im doing security right shoulder and multithreat left
