DBZ Scouter

I decided to start a new WIP for the Dragon Ball Z Kai Scouter so far right now I just have the ear attachment sculpted, still need to do the piece that comes from that to the eye, waiting for molding and casting supplies to arrive to do it with, the clay I used was just a mix of two oven bake clays. I have'nt decided yet if I'm going to make the ear part a two piece that will open to show circuits and stuff on the inside the circuits would be sculpted so it would only be for looks if it was opened up, but I would like to hear other's opinions on this, after I get this done I'm going to start sculpting the Saiyan Armor molding it with Rebound 25 and casting it with flex foam, I know there's a pep file around and that would help me with reference but I can't find the file for the chest armor. Anyways here's the pic of the scouter. The scouter will be made out of Smoothcast 320

Yes from DBZ Kai if I could find a image of the original Scouter I would try to do it as well but I doubt that it really matters with a diffrence.

Take note: Dragon Ball Z Kai IS the original DBZ footage. Like, nothing has been re-drawn. All they did was remaster the original cels to make it look nicer.

Therefore, it IS the original scouter, but in better definition than earlier releases.

Well I made a few changes but right now my camera does'nt want to work for me I made the center deeper and more defined, I also sliced it in half so after it's molded it will be two parts that you can open up to see the circuits.As soon as my camera wants to work again I'll toss up two pictures.

I first watched DBZ abridged (the fan one, not Kai) yesterday so this is fresh in my brain. Looking forward to how this develops.

As a tip, you can use any clear material for the scouter eye but use the krylon (metals) colored varnish to tint it. The stuff is brilliant and you can get everything from bright red to blue and green in very vibrant colors for different scouter models.

Also since I mentioned DBZ abridged. Heres a couple funny bits with very good scouter references. (the center is recessed and the outside is curved like an old pair of earphones)
