Awesome work Roxy!!! Glad you chose to go with a Hunter. It's my favorite class to use. Hey, if you end up needing a Hunter knife to go with that super cool build of yours, I just so happen to know a guy. ;)

Edit...Those mirror blue and mirror chrome goggles are sick looking!!!

I'm just going to leave these here...

Ohhhh yeeaaaahhhhh. Alpha Lupi, baby!

There's this honeycomb like texture on the side-boob. I took a chop stick and pressed the circles in one by one. Kinda tedious. Now i have to do the other side.

Alpha Lupi! You're not messing around lol. Seriously though, that is gonna be a ton of detail work for that chestpiece, but it'll look awesome once it's done.

>_>;; Yeah. I'm a sucker for punishment. I do love that chest in the game, though. I never switch it for another exotic.

Hi, Lil'Tyrant! <3

It seems like whenever I make myself a deadline I never get it done in time. So... no more deadlines. I'll just try to get this done as fast as possible and wear it to the next con that appears AFTER it's finished. >___>;;; My goal for today is just to finish the basic chest. I need to do the back, but here is the completed front. Detailing and add-ons come after.

So far, all the work is practically the same process. These are just progress photos.

NOTE: this is additive sculpture. Working with worbla is very much based on adding layers on top of layers. I don't remember if i said this before, but it also requires a heat gun. There is a small window of time to shape the worbla before the plastic cools and hardens.

1)
Destiny Alpha Lupi chest serious progress.

2)
I traced the pattern onto craft foam. The edges have this big indent, so i cut out a cm thick slice around the whole thing. The wholes were measured, pushed in with a pen, then cut out with an exacto blade.

3)
Next step, Worbla sandwich. Push in the indentation with fingers.

4)
More indenting, but this time clean it up with a pointier edge, like a pen or chopstick. The holes were pushed in rather than cut out. Not sure if I'll cut them out or not.

5)
Cut out the worbla with sharp scissors. Pinch and poke to make sure the edges are clean before the heat goes away. Do one side at a time. Size comparison. This is why patterns are so important. Without that pattern, this could have been too big, too small... but this fits just right.

6)
This is the piece with the vine weaving. I actually counted how many weaves there were on each side. Eight on the bottom and ten on the sides, at least, before the wings cover them. I continued the weave to the edge. You can't see it here, but there are tiny dots (two) inside each gap. I started that on the right side.

7) PATTERNS. again. Yay for that.

8)
Tracing patterns save a lot of time.

9)
Halfway done with vine detailing. @_@

10)
Vines are STUPID. And by stupid, I mean really, really difficult. @_@ and tedious. Both sides of vine work complete.

Nearly done with the chest plate for Alpha Lupi. I took a small break simply because of the intensity of the project. I'll be getting back to this soon.
