It's been a really long time since i have been here, new site and all, impressed that my acct is still here. Anyways, i have taken on a new build as my last suit parts (which i never got to finish) got trashed in a violent change of housing a while back. So I am starting fresh and with one of my favorite characters: Ornstein from Dark Souls!

Ill be adding pictures shortly!

Quick update before i hit the hay for tonight, I am working on the helmet now and it has proven to be quite the task, i have also began looking into 3D printing and modeling as i would like to do the spearhead and a few other bits with the printer if i can find a good one and learn how to do the work needed to print off my own stuff with it. I have the garage set up to do the resin. just waiting for a good time and the weather to clear up a little.

Been working a bit slow on the lion face for the helmet due to me never having worked on such high detail parts before. Now that i have my new trusty sidekick, SUPER GLUE, I am feeling really confident in being able to finish all the pep with some style!

just dropping a quick update before i head to work, thought id have some fun with it and i might make a second one of these thats just the face up to the top of the helmet to make into a mask, and wear that as a less detailed helmet in certain places as well as just an accent piece. Helmet is looking sweet. This is one of the reasons why I stay away from pep builds. All this cutting and folding would have driven me bonkers!

I would do a foam build, but ill be honest, i have far more comfort in doing pep work. the cutting and folding is the easy part, its the later stuff that i will struggle with. After this build, ill be trying my hand at a foam spartan build.
