here's where i will post everything i've made/been making. i'm just starting pepakura and would appreciate any advice, tips, or tricks you can offer

this is a costume i used 2 years ago for halloween. it is made of duct tape except the visor which is packing tape. took me a weekend and 3 rolls of tape

this one was an attempt at a stormtrooper costume, wish i had a better picture :/ only took me 4 hours and 2 rolls of tape

couple years ago i started a mural on my bedroom wall, it's the box art of the Halo 2 game. i sketched it freehand without the use of a projector and have almost finished painting it. this is the most recent pic i could find, i'll post a more recent one when i get back from the weekend.

now the stuff everyone is well experienced in...this is my first attempt at pepakura. the file is not mine, i believe it was an ODST Mickey file without the camera but i forget where i got it anyway, may the constructive criticizism commence

Duct-Tape Armor... okay... you should watch the Duct-Tape Island Episode of Mythbusters.
Otherwise... you shouldnt wear these kind of armors sry to say that, but no way i would wear these kind of armor.
i hope you take your time to create a real fiberglass armor this time and you gona love it

thanks guys, means a lot and yeah, the duct tape armor was never something i wanted to wear more than once, both were last minute halloween costumes so they were really rushed

so, it turns out, i was unknowingly conscripted into being the armorer for a group called the lost mavericks. they are currently planning a live action destiny machinima and require my spartan armor (questionable, but it sounds like they've got the storyline figured out). in other news i finished resining and fiberglassing the armor, threw a couple magnets in both thighs (2 each) as well as on the back of the chest (3) and a quick coat of paint before shipping it off... kinda wish i had more time to perfect it but i guess it's only onto bigger and better things. anyways, this is me with the armor and as you can see, the helmet is an airsoft helmet they bought off ebay and it doesn't match the armor color which they hope to match and plan to strengthen the armor a little more.
