anyone know how to fiberglass a pepakura energy sword?

I wouldn't fiberglass it, but rather fill it with casting resin or rondo.

hmmm well i would like to stick to the cheeper methods if at all possible

Cut the blade in half then fiberglass like normal?

i did an energy sword build if you would like you could check out my blog post, i didn't cut mine in half but it went smoothly.

oh thanks man! did you just fiberglass/bondo the outside and is that rebarb you put through the handle?

yes on the fiberglass and bondo although it feels really light i wish i would of done something inside maybe low expansion foam, with the bar, its flat about an inch wide an .25 inch thick, i used some epoxy to glue it but that is just temporary for now. uh another way to do the handle is to make a tab on each side of the handle and a slot in each side of the sword.
