Eod Thoughts?

I feel kinda stupid for saying this but
has anyone every suggested or thought to using the lens from those orange shiney glasses for an eod helm?

yes actually I using that on my EOD helm I am working on right now

thats what im doing I went to 5 and below and found a pair of orange mired sunglasses and when my helmut is ready to have them installed I will just use my dermal tool to cut them into shape. good luck

That was actually my plan. They are a lot cheaper than the HJC visors and they should pop right in.
