EVA/Fiberglass Hybrid Master Chief Build

Howdy!
Lost the info for my old account so here I am on the new one!

Just wanted to share my first armor build with y'all!
I don't have many pics of the build process but I collected all I could. This build was about 3-4 years ago.

THE BUILD:
I made the base out of EVA and painted it but wasn't happy with it. I decided to coat it with fiberglass on the inside to strengthen it up in some parts but I also used some pour on high gloss table finish because it is slightly more flexible than fiberglass resin! Haven't seen other people do this so this was kind of a test.

THE TECH:
On the inside of the helmet I used an Arduino soundboard and put buttons in the center I could push with my tongue haha. It works surprisingly well!

Haha thanks! I wanted to make a hands free control system to make things more realistic. I think on my next build I'll rebuild the system and maybe add some lights into the mix!
