I've seen a few electrical rubber tubes that are pretty similar. i dont know the exact name though, or diameter.

Also just to clear something up, To make a crackle finish I could use a latex base spraypaint and then after a few minutes put on the acrylic top coat?

Yesterday...



It's been glassed, Hoorah for hairdryers!



Fiberglass mat is a "Insert alternate name for Female Dog" to resin it sticks to everything, so when you're trying to push it back down so it makes contact with the paper and then lift up the brush it follows the brush(I use a used resin brush) or if you try to move around the resin you poured in, It also follows the brush. But, it is pretty strong. /Semi rant.

After I get the chest to where I can print/cut it out it I'll start on that.



Dose anybody know of any nice voice changers or something like that, that would also work? I think it'd be pretty neat. Also the people you talk to can actually hear you clear-er than just mumbles.

The sun had been out for a couple of days in a row so it was warm enough to bondo today.



Ok, I don't know how you guys open up you're gallon(Or whatever it is) of bondo this is how I had to open mine:

By cutting some slits fore to be exact.

While bondo-ing and sanding I've seemed to have broken the... bottom rim? Not a big deal no-one can see it and it makes it easier to put on/off.

Also, I don't know if you can see in any of the pis but I cut out the resin "Ear Cap"(Has blue tape in it) I accidentally made.

And what I really hate about fiberglass is when you're sanding/bondo you stab you're self with those random spikes of fiberglass in the helmet trying to get a good grip >_> .

Edit:Just got an Idea to put expanding foam into one of those lined with plastic wrap to make a mold of the inside Hmm.



So after spending an hour trying to grind down the resin/fiberglass in one of the ear's I decided to see were else I could put these cool things, I was thinking cut them in half and put them as the connector for the respirator/gas mask on the front.[attachment=14124icture 549.jpg]

Watts Clear vinyl Tubing 1/2in. x 3/8in. x 20ft .

Fixed the tube, put in a inner support of a lot of halved tooth pics and white glue at the connection between the tube and elbow.

I seem to be braking it in some places as I'm building it, MORE BONDO!! and maybe some resin.

I some how acquired the whole suit and the whole helmet as an Obj so I'm now dissecting the armour pieces. The selected one looks like it's the pipboy so I might not seperate it.
