Few New 3ds Files

hey guys and gals, i haven't been on for a while but i have a good reason i have been working on a few new 3ds models that i have modified to either look better be better or smoother. so with out further adue here are the things i have been working on.

the chain gun turret it is a nice model i highly suggest that you do not make the barrels and instead make the barrels out of pvc pipe.

the fuel rod gun. a few open edges the barrel once again should not be made it is there for your convenience and is mostly unfortunately open edges.

Those look great!! If I get some free time I will try my hand at unfolding at least 1 of them. But again, nice work.
 
whoah i just saw this i guess i could unfold this been sick for a while though so i have tons of work from school but i work on it

Technically no. I scaled this thing with human proportions in mind. I'm pretty sure if I were have scaled it to spartan proportions, it would have been absolutely huge. It's about 40cm tall, and the barrels take up about 20 inches, with the other half being roughly the same length. So the whole thing is probably around 42 inches long or 3 1/2 feet. :)

In the other hand, he didn't said that he MADE it, only modified :)

Those models was made by some French dude from Halomaps.org originally.
Here's the source of turret and many other models :)

Maybe not, but always, ALWAYS ask permission before modifying works and give credit when you do. It's good karma, people.
 
the question now is...how do we make it spin (obviously, i am aware that a cheap poer drill would provide the best means to power the spinning, i'm thinking about where to chop it up etc)
 
what i might do it leave the end with the barrels open, put a small pully motor in there and hook it up to a triger on the handel
