I just barely started to resin some of my armor last weekend and I want to know if it is safe to touch when it is all dry.

Yes it should be completely safe once it's dry, but if you feel a place where there's a slight oily wetness you may want to wash your hands, and either whipe it down or use a bit of baby powder on it. ;)

Dont touch it if wet, it sticks to your hands and it is water proof, washing your hands doesnt really help to get it off.

when dry its safe, for the record be sure to wash ur hands if you use something like epoxy, where theres still a chemical reaction going on and it could technically burn you. Im not really sure how resin works but I'd say better safe than sorry and wash your hands if you get some of it on you while its wet.

yeah ive gotten resin on my bare skin alot of times and nothing is more painfully annoying when a little gets on you and your still glassing. its a horrible itching burning sensation and if you want it off use a scrubber like you would for dishes and the oil soap (the one that feels like there is sand in it) and keep doing that till the sensation goes away, right now i still have resin on my skin that has harden because i missed it so im going to have fun in just a minute

Cool thanks. Just wanted to know so I won't have to waste gloves just touching it while its all dried out. Still need to put a little bit more coats of it on some pieces and then some sanding. After all that then some body filler.

Woops, sorry about that. I haven't worked with this stuff for a while. :p

If anything gets on your skin use paint thinner or laquer thinner to get it off (laguer works best). You should still wash your hands AFTER that.
